Since then, we have grown from a small boutique specialised in tax and IPR to a polyvalent firm seeing to our clients needs in over seventy countries around the world. From the very beginning up until this day, the cornerstone of our work ethic remains founded on a combination of flexibility in our business practices and rigour in our professional principles. In 1998, Zhigachov & Christophoroff was acquired by the international law firm "McGuire Woods"In the Spring of 2003, together with the international law firm "Hammonds" the joint venture "Hammonds Zhigachov Christophoroff"was created, that allowed us effectively serve clients both in Russia and in the EU countries. In parallel our firm continued its collaboration with "McGuire Woods" on projects in the United States. Work Approaches Rather than being content with reaching the objectives fixed by a client during our first contact, our professional approach has always been characterised by an attempt to get at the problems they are really facing. Our firm has much experience dealing with clients who are confronted with the objectives that go along with setting up a new business, taking over or restructuring an existing one.
